Sisters and Brothers from All Directions,

You who are among the Many Voices of Sacred Earth.
WELCOME to this gathering in Celebration of our home and life.

It is customary in many traditions to give thanks for the bounty and blessings of Sacred Earth.

And so it is that we raise up our voices in thanks giving

For the abundance and beauty freely given by Earth

For our family (whanau) and friends who support us
For our nations, tribes and communities that sustain us
For our wise teachers and young people who walk with us.

We have arrived at the crossroads of time.
We are living the prophecies of our ancestors.

Now is the time when we are asked to make choices.
Where and how do we stand with Life?

We are asked to be informed.
We are asked to listen to all voices.
We are asked to open our hearts.

We are asked to transform mindsets and methods that have not worked for people and planet into ways of respect, honesty, generosity, compassion and loving action.

We have been born into this time so that we may answer the call to carry out our mission – to preserve, protect, conserve and create a world that works for all.

What passions burn in our hearts, waiting to be expressed from our Soul?
What ideas are sparked in our minds wishing to be shared and manifest?

What actions will alight our paths to create a new way through our Being?

May this unique Festival bring us thought-provoking and soul-enriching encounters.
