2. Make Yourself Comfortable.
To Awaken Your Inner Voice you may need to bring with you a few tools. Your yoga mat, a pillow, a warm blanket to support your meditation and keep you cosy in those cold evenings, that beautiful talisman you might want to have blessed. Most importantly, read our blessings here and join us with special gratitude for Mother Earth.
3. Bring Your Own Bottle.
Make sure you get enough water between all the workshops and lots of talking. You can also top up with fruit water infusions at the Hydration Station. Plus, bringing your own eco-friendly bottle helps further our goal of making this a 0 waste festival!
4. Craft Your Own Timetable.

WELCOME to this gathering in Celebration of our home and life.
It is customary in many traditions to give thanks for the bounty and blessings of Sacred Earth.
And so it is that we raise up our voices in thanks giving
For the abundance and beauty freely given by Earth
For our family (whanau) and friends who support us
For our nations, tribes and communities that sustain us
For our wise teachers and young people who walk with us.
We have arrived at the crossroads of time.
We are living the prophecies of our ancestors.
Now is the time when we are asked to make choices.
Where and how do we stand with Life?
We are asked to be informed.
We are asked to listen to all voices.
We are asked to open our hearts.
We are asked to transform mindsets and methods that have not worked for people and planet into ways of respect, honesty, generosity, compassion and loving action.
We have been born into this time so that we may answer the call to carry out our mission – to preserve, protect, conserve and create a world that works for all.
What passions burn in our hearts, waiting to be expressed from our Soul?
What ideas are sparked in our minds wishing to be shared and manifest?

Year after year people return to Kawai Purapura for our Voices of Sacred Earth Festival. It’s earned it’s place as one of the most unique festivals around and, if you haven’t already, you need to experience the energy for yourself to believe it. Here are 10 reasons to join us in 2018!

This is something really quite unique. Festival vibes entwined with culture, healing, sustainability, creative arts, Indigenous music, dance and rituals…we’ve got it all.

]]>Experience the power and deep understanding as wisdom keepers from Native American traditions lead you through traditional Sweat lodge protocols.
Sweat Lodges is utilised to help in cleansing ourselves in every aspect of our lives, emotional, physical, mental and spiritually. This is a sacred healing ceremony brought to the Lakota people by White Buffalo and Calf Woman. The Sweat lodge has now been utilised by many people throughout the world an there have been changes made by those that have them. What I personally have experienced was a great awakening of reconnecting with my spirituality and this has helped in healing myself in my recover of alcoholism, for which I am very grateful for the sacred personal experiences I have had, and now sharing and encouraging others to also change their lives for the betterment. Hopefully they will take this and be inspired to transform themselves to be “Spiritual Beings”. I know we constantly have challenges in our lives, but we must have balance, harmony, unity which will lead us to Peace. The key for this happen is having the compassion to forgive ourselves first and towards others. This what we strive for to be “Hopi”. So take advantage of all that is positive and we will benefit humanity and all life throughout the world and Universe.

A morning Hatha flow with Pragyadhara. A flowing blend of postures integrated with breath. Sun salutations with Sanskrit mantras to awaken and energize followed by pranayama and meditation. A complete yogic experience that will ignite a positive intention for the day and beyond.
